Hello, my name is Alec Rhodes. I’m a filmmaker, photographer, and storyteller with a Bachelor’s degree in Film and Media Arts from American University in Washington, D.C., and I’m currently pursuing my MFA in Digital Media Production at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia.

After being diagnosed with and surviving Stage III cancer this year, I’ve never felt more compelled to use filmmaking and photography to tell meaningful stories—stories that inspire hope, encourage others, and ultimately glorify God.

I believe everyone has a story worth telling. My passion is helping people share those stories through the powerful mediums of film, photography, and digital storytelling. Whether capturing someone’s struggles, triumphs, dreams, or the moments in between, I want to create work that reminds us of the beauty, purpose, and hope found in every life.
